Drums, percussion, vocals
Dennis began playing drums at the age of 13 with his main influence being the Beatles and, of course, Ringo. His whole world changed when he heard John Bonham of Led Zeppelin for the first time. Never had he heard someone play with such power, and yet have such finesse. He spent his time learning as many of his drum licks as he could and to this day cites him as his main influence.
Variety truly is the spice of life for Dennis. He has played with an Elvis impersonator, a 50's and 60's band, a Latin band, an instrumental surf band, and too many groups to mention. As a 40 year veteran of the club circuit he has played in many successful variety bands and also a Heart tribute band.
Career highlights include being a member of Jimmy Hall's backing band when he came to the west coast. Jimmy was a member of the band Wet Willie, which had a hit record "Keep on Smilin" that Dennis covered in several bands. Another highlight was working with Annie Bertucci, who toured with the 70"s act The Baby's and had a successful solo career of her own.
Dennis believes it is the love of drumming that keeps him healthy and happy.
